In 2000, St. Augustine’s Parish of Lawrence, MA. and St. Teresa’s Parish in Methuen became Our Lady of Good Council (OLGC) Parish.

 

Twenty-five years later we had a Jubilee year of celebration. We had concerts, dances, dinners, and other events during the year. Some members of OLGC’s St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVdP Society is a world-wide Catholic organization that helps the poor with food, shelter and clothing) and our music ministry decided to create a CD of original music to honor Our Lady and celebrate our anniversary with song.

 

The areas of our parish that SVdP Society serves are very poor. As is our organization. So we used this CD as a fund raiser for our parish’s SVdP Society, It is a 4 song CD.

• The first song is Called “Prosper the Work”. It is based on Ps.90:17 and Wisdom 9: 13,18.

• “Our Lady of Guadalupe” was written to honor Our Lady’s apparitions in Mexico in 1531.

• “The Memorare” was put to music

• Shubert’s “Ave Maria” is the 4th song.  

 

This digital music is $10. All the proceeds will go to OLGC’S SVdP Society.
